Thank you all for your support and caring! I am so glad I joined this board! I have "met" some of the most wonderful new friends a person could want!

My thoughts are with you. Losing a dear friend is so hard. Glad she could enjoy a quilt and wall hanging you made for her and glad you both got to make the trip together. Cherish the memories. BTW, you are allowed some days like this.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm sure your friend appreciated the thoughtful quilt you made for her. I wish she had longer to enjoy it. I long to have such a good friend as you appear to be.

I know what it is like to let a friend leave this world and we are the ones who feel a little more lonely. Just remember they are on the other side and will be waiting for us when our turn comes to move from this life. She knows you love her and she still loves you as a very dear friend who sewed love into the things you make for her. My prayers and hugs to you.

I am so sorry to hear about your friend. It sounds like you have such loving memories in each others company. What a wonderful tribute to her to make all these things for her. Thank you for sharing. My prayers are with you and everyone whose heart she touched, including her family.
God Bless and keep strong through the good memories.

You are right 47 is way to young. How fortunate she was to have you for a friend and to share her journey with her. I'm sorry for your loss.

You were fortunate to have had a sister-in-law that you loved.

I'm sorry for you that she had to leave - and that her exit was such a rough one.

so sorry for the loss of your DSIL. We never un-love, but I have learned that in time the pain does lessen, and it is those memories, and the knowing she is in a better place and out of pain, that will see you through. Yes, there are many things, that will happen, like a bird landing or singing, that will let you know, she misses you too, but in a happy way. There are no more tears where she is, but we have to cry here, to wash away our pain and heal. hugs.
