Both quilts are nice, but the moose is stunning. I have the wolf and lion so wondering what was the really hard part? Any pointers you learned from the process?

I love your moose, very nice work. I just started the deer by the Bigfork Bay Company.
I have done several applique wall hangings by McKenna Ryan. Here is how she suggests you free motion quilt around the applique pieces using YLI thread. My husband's nick name was moose in college. You did an awesome job on the quilt.

I have not done much fusing, so I am not an expert. I was told that a stitch that goes _ _ _ _ /\ _ _ _ _/\ is good for edges.
I have made hand appliqued dogs and an eagle. For that quilting, I did as quiltpd suggested and tried to suggest the animal's texture with the quilting, but light quilting elsewhere. |
