The baby quilt is the "Ethan's Star" pattern. I found it in the back of a quilting magazine. It is something you can buy (I think it is called Five Stars Big Block Baby quilts). Instead of buying it, I drew it onto to graph paper and figured everthing from there. Mine is 42" x 42". So the blocks are six inched finished. I cut everything ahead of time and then I start the assembly. It makes it much faster and easier. It took about five days to do this one. The hardest part was finding fabrics for little boys.
