WOW!! So pretty and elegant :D:D:D

Thanks so much. The patterns are just made up in my head. The little pinwheels are 2 1/2 inch squares. The dresden plate is cut from 3 inch strips. (That's my fav) But really just mini anything you do in a full size quilt. About 8 or 9 inches x 10-12 inch rectangles. The pockets are about 2 1/2 x 4 inches. Just have fun. It's a great way to use up scraps. (and I've always had trouble with binding and it has been a great way to practice those nasty corners!) Found you still need a 2 1/2 in strip for the binding just like full size projects.

I think you should have a BYOMR tea party so they are all on display at once. They are all simply lovely.
|
Wow, simply beautiful.

Wow! Those are beautiful! Your friends will love them. I like how you matched the fabrics with the cups.
|
OMG! Those are GEORGEOUS!! What lucky friends you have and what a creative quilter you are!!

oh those are gorgeous. Love the lace accents. :) I am partial to the dresden fan one!
|
Love them. Especially love the pinks, but then again, I LOVE pink!
|
I'd just about give my right arm for any of them. They are absolutely gorgeous!!!! The Victorian patterns are wonderful, but to make them in pinks and lilacs/lavendars, makes them even more beautiful!!!!! Great work!!! Thanks for sharing.

These placemats will knock your friends socks off, they are so delightful to look at. Wonderful job. Janice

These are absolutely Beautiful!! I love the fabrics you chose.
|
Ab-sew-lutely stunning!!! Oh sew feminine and elegant.
|
These are stunning. It must have taken a long time finding matching fabrics to the cups. GREAT JOB!!!
|
The other ladies have said it all....Each one was prettier than the last and impossible to choose. I had thought of doing some with just mugs but unable to find any nice mugs to match up. This rural area leaves a lot to be desired for shopping. I love the tea cups. I have a collection from my Mom and can't believe I didn't think of that ...

I tried a mug rug yesterday and it's okay but yours are so much prettier. I especially like the pastels and a little lace.

Can I be your lady friend? Can I? Can I?
These are beutiful!!!!!!! |
They are just lovely

Do you know I just start making something, so not one of them is the same size but most but most around 9 x 12 inch rectangle. I try to keep them so I don't have to piece the binding.

I found the cups and saucers in a couple antique shops. There were lots in Berlin, Ohio. Found a couple in Marietta, Ohio. They are pretty cheap b/c there are just one of them. Now I'm addicted to going to antique shops. Someone help me!

Absolutley beautiful! There should be a "prettier" name than mug rug. These are too lovely to be called something that sounds so clunky!!
|
Very elegant! I hope you post pictures of the last four.
|
These are beautiful.
|
These are all so very beautiful and such thoughtful gifts. I know you put a lot of love into each of these lovely gifts. Could I get on your friends list? hehe
