WOW - she's pretty. And fancy looking. I think I'd name her "Swanky".

I have one like it. My 66 redeye came from a garage sale- $15. There was a motor (add-on) that was plainly not good and unsafe wireing. I took off the motor and all wires and put on a hand crank. The handcrank parts were easy to install, came with directions for installation, and if I remember right only cost about $25 (the handcrank parts are reproductions). A gal (Cindy) online sells lots of old Singer parts, she's a regular contributer to the vintage Singer Yahoo group. Very helpful people there. I love the very vintage look of handcranks and all old Singers.

Wow--I had no idea they made them so pretty back then. I think her name is Harriet.

I think you should name her "Jenny"... Jenny Lind was a *singer* in the 1800's, known as the Swedish Nightengale. :)
