Yes, you need to carry on the holiday traditions for the family. She would want you to be happy with those you have around you. Hugs and love sent!!

That's a great haul!

I believe that 'the living' has to kick themselves 'after a while' after a death - 'They' wouldn't want us to mope around. 'They' would like us to continue to enjoy life as best we could. I also believe 'they' are around us and 'we'll' see 'them' again.

We're all eagerly awaiting the posting pictures of your completed curtains - so get sewing! :) ((((sherrib)))))

Your Mama will always be with you, as long as she is in your heart. Think about it, how happy it would make her to see you, do all this work.

Good for you!!! I lost my husband 13 years ago, and he was sick for a couple Christmases before that. He used to tell me not to make a fuss at Christmas, that it was too much work. I said nonsense then, and I say nonsense now. I have Christmas here in my little house with all the kids & their families, and the neighbors with their little kids. I enjoy it. This year may be a little different because of the invalid dog. But I will figure that out as the time comes. I love all your fabric!
