When I made the totes...the corners were square...took some doing but they turned out really well. :D Sewing around circles and making corners. LOL

I am working on my denim quilt too, but mine won't be as big! :-) I like the idea of grocery bags. I have so much extra jean fabric, that will be added to the project list.

I'm glad that lots are planning on denim quilts. We need to do all we can to help recycle as old jeans don't work well for rags or much else. I've even used them as "beds" for dogs (shredded) inside of old pillow cases sewn together. It is better for them than nothing in our cold Iowa weather. :D

It's beautiful. What a great idea.

I put my zig zag seam in anywhere from 1/4 to 1/2 inch in on the "flaps" when I sewed them down and when you wash it...it does its own thing. :D Hope that this helps :D

Would love to see pics of everyone elses denim quilts :D

LOVE your quilt! Now I regret giving away all my levis squares (I was making a "ragtime" quilt out of them without the batting but it got way too heavy) Your picture inspired me to start collecting levis again. Thanks for posting your photos.
