This is the Chop and Sew pattern I found here on this board. I couldn't resist it. I had some fat quarters I purchased from Missouri Star Quilt and didn't know what to do with, so I decided to chop and sew them up. The border is a medium green that almost matches some of the greens in the quilt. What should or could I use for the backing? This quilt is 50 by 60. I don't know how I wound up with that size.
It's bright alright, but if it makes him smile, I's OK. I like it, but I'm a bright color person anyway. currently I'm working on a modified 9 patch (5 inch pieces of any design or color) with a Log Cabin border around each block. Each block will eventually be 20 inches. 20 blocks to make it 80 x 100. Keep up the bright, smiling work. Lovely!

I think it is pretty. Add some crazy quilting stitches!! You do some by machine before quilting it.
