its not easy losing a loved one and making the quilt probably helped you while you grieved and it is great that you are keeping it for yourself. Not only is it a beautiful quilt but it also has special meaning just for you..priceless... as they say time is a great healer and when you wrap yourself in that quilt you will remember all the special times with your dad.

My dad kept very little clothes...he was just that way. But I want to make my mom a memory quilt out of his shirts and pants. He kept a printed cheat quilt on his bed and I'll use that for the backing and his sheets for the middle. That way its all him. Thats really going to be a hard one to do....but its for my mom.
