Awww...hugs for you! I know the sadness times 2.
Love the star quilt. Think I saw a similiar pattern but don't know where. Just love love your versioin. |
Love both of the quilts but the star is my favorite. Also like your web site. Thanks
Both are goregous! Love the first one-the colors are so bright & bold!
Oh my goodness, these are so pretty. I understand about the black catching lint but it is so much fun to work with. You did a great job.
You can practically FEEL the color!!! Nice!! Very interesting bargello:)
I LOVE the first one. The second one is pretty too, but oh my gosh, that first one is just beautiful!
Lint notwithstanding, those stars are STUNNING. I think black just showcases those intense jewel colors to their maximum. So very pretty. Bargellos look hard to me and yours is very pretty.
I, too, thought the stars looked like woven satin ribbons. They really pop on that black background. The bargello reminds me of the beautiful woven Native American blankets and the colors of it look like the muted tones of wool. Beautiful job.
So sorry about your dog. They are definitely members of the family, never to be forgotten. We lost our Goldens (siblings) 17 days apart, two years ago, and I still hope to do a portrait quilt of them some day. When we get done doing our traveling we hope to get two more.........his and hers : ) |
They are both wonderful, but the Delectable Stars is DYNOMITE!!!!! That one is now on my "gotta make this before my time is up" list - very near the top. Condolences on the passing of your dear Casey.
Love them both, especially the bargello! Great job! Sorry about Casey. Dogs are so wonderful and such a big part of our lives.
They are just wonderful, great job and thank you for sharing,
Have a Blessed day Ellen |
both quilts are beautiful.
So sorry to hear about your dog. It is so heartbreaking to lose a furbaby!
Your quilts are beautiful! I especially love the stars! |
Neat quilts!! Hugs to you! Sorry to hear of you losing your dog.
Thank you for sharing your patterns. They are extremely beautiful and I appreciate your time and talent. Yolanda Wood River
They're both really gorgeous but I especially like that second one...the HST's give the lines a great flow, my eyes swoop back and forth across the quilt when I look at it. Feels organic the way you put it together, a little bit like wood or maybe eroded rock strata. Beautiful!
Wow! Those are amazing. Never would have thought the second one came from HST.
I'm sorry to hear about your dog, our fur babies are very special and will always have a place in your heart.
Your quilts are beautiful, love the first one. I really like black in my quilts, but also hate removing the lint. |
both are beautiful quilts-nice and bright.sorry about you dog-but we must know when to let them go.
Both quilts are awesome!!! Love the bright colors. :) I know exactly how you feel.......lost my 16 yr. old yorkie recently.
Beautiful quilts! My sincerest sympathy in the loss of Casey.
Your quilts are gorgeous. I love the first one best. But I like black for a background. Sorry to hear about Casey. Pets are members of the family & it is so hard when we lose them.
Your star one is stunning and your bargello is very, very interesting. I have to put these on my bucket list.
Your quilts are exceptional. Despite the difficulty, I don't know what would set them off any better than black. The colors in both is great. They show off your talent to perfection. I like the pattern in the first quilt.
Casey is in doggy heaven waiting joyfully for you to join him. He is not suffering but celebrating. Picture him as being happy, and that will comfort you. Do not delay in getting a new pet to give your love to. |
I LOVE what a black background does for bright colors. Your quilt is STUNNING! The 2nd quilt is a very interesting and clever way to use HSTs. I haven't seen it before, so to me you've come up with an original design. Way to go!
Sorry about Casey. Love the quilts and your website!
