My sewing room is done in black and bees-busy as a bee. I never thought about it being Steeler colors!
I thought the difference between applecore and axehead was size? That is, the applecore pieces were smaller, and the axehead bigger, making this an axehead at 10". I did try to start with a smaller pattern, 6", but it kicked my fanny and finally decided the template (a homemade jobbie) didn't fit itself the way it should have. This is the size I wanted anyway; I was just trying to use smaller scraps to learn on. So much for that idea. Nevertheless, I'm pleased. Onward and upward! :) |
