The original number one because there is more than one pattern to draw the eye into the quilt.
I would finish off the top and bottom pattern with the white rather than b&w fabric, but like the edges the way they are.

I am a sucker for the log cabin also.

i like the first one it just catches my eye better and i love the red, white and black. :thumbup:

I would take one of each. When push comes to shove 2 and 3 are ones I am most familiar with. I love the red, white and black combinations in almost anyway.
