THAT is your first? Kidding right? LOL, you don't even wanna see my first... or any of the ones beyond that. Guess I've got a learning curve. You, on the other hand, must be a natural. Beautiful work.

Wowzers! I can't even imagine tackling something like that as a first project. Where do you go from here? That's fabulous.

Where in Oregon? I'm straight north of you and have LOTS of Oregon connections.

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR THE ENCOURAGING WORDS!

I couldn't resist posting a close-up. You guys are so nice! The photos don't show all my beginner mistakes.

I got the block patterns from "100 Pieced Patterns for 8" Quilt Blocks" by Marsha McCloskey. The booklet includes a sampler quilt using the same Log Cabin alternate blocks and I added a different border.

I look forward to learning and enjoying the pics here.

I forgot....

I live outside Eugene, Oregon. Also, there are several reject blocks that didn't make the quilt and some seriously misaligned seams. The photos do seem to blur it a bit.

Thanks Again! I'll be spending lots of time here looking at all the pics.
