Talented, indeed. I think you've done a splendid job of working with the wood and the hardware is terrific.
My mother had shallow cabinets built on an interior wall when the home was remodeled in the late 1940's. The bathroom wasn't large enough to have 10-12 inch projections on one particular wall, so with the use of the space between the studs and cabinets with doors only projecting 4 inches in the room we had functional space for towels and the like. I love seeing non-traditional uses of space and materials. Thanks for sharing!! |
What a neat idea! The trim in my old FH was loaded with paint and so dry that it cracked when we tried to take it off. Did manage to get enough 3-4' pieces so I can attach the old porcelain door knobs onto. Will be keepsake pieces for the kids.
