You did a terrific job in drawing it out and what a compliment to 7x! Bless you for doing this for the NICU babies Deb!

That is one of my other 'lurking' on here. I look at the avatars as much as pics posted, and I usually find something that grabs me.....I did the woven comfort from here as well. And...if I CAN'T figure it out, I have no shame in pm-ing the person and asking what the pattern is!

I would love to make some NICU blankets for our local hosp, but to be honest, I have no idea how to get started...
Do you just call the hosp and offer?
Do you have to belong to a guild or group?
Sorry for all the Q's this just really sparked an interest in me

Yes, it's beautiful!

I golf with a NICU nurse and I asked her about doing this. She said that they are always welcome. Because the laundry service is so harsh at the hospital, the quilts are not used in the isolets themselves. The parents can use them over those blankets when they are rocking them, and then take them home. I do not belong to any guild or quilt group except THIS one!

Deb, as someone who currently has a baby in a NICU, I thank you for making these beautiful, thoughtful quilts.
