Over 1500 patterns they say. And lots and lots of different designers. I had to look at every single pattern. There are lots of dragons there. I chose him because of his kind face. But I may make some of the other types of dragons later when he is older. This one is for his fifth birthday.
I did learn some new techniques, so that was fun, but he was a lot of work. I think if I made another I would make him fatter and his head a bit bigger, but that is just how I am. I have a hard time following patterns. Oh, the pattern called for green, but my husband decided red would be better. He picked the fabric. It is suede cloth, and the belly is a scale print in cotton. |
