It appears the the 3 row border is longer than the wide border. If this is the case & it's long enough, you could split it down the middle of the light blue/pink strip (giving you 4 strips to work with) and sew it on each side with the split light blue strip out. Then divide the larger border and add it to the split light blue border on the outside. I hope this is clear. You did a great job of redoing the top and I would love to see the finished top.

Yep, use the wide border to do the complete border. You should be proud of the work you have done so far. Sandy 64
