Wedges are cut from 6 layers of printed fabric in exactly the same location of the print (stack and whack) so that you have 6 identical wedges for each hexagon, and then sewn together as Kaleidoscopes. Google One Block Wonder. The quilt shown here is made of all of those hexagons cut from the fabric you see on the back. |
