If it's true that we learn from our mistakes, then I'm going to be a genius someday. Carry on, make the best of it, I'm sure it will turn out wonderful. Yes applique it down to background blocks maybe add some sashing, and voila....

However it gets done, it wil be fabulous. The textures in all the little florals makes a very inviting, happy and vibrant appearance. Love it.
