Lora - that is totally awesome! What did you cut the vinyl tiles with? I've been thinking of putting new vinyl in the bathroom...maybe I'll try to do something like that. Than again, maybe not...

wow unbelieveable. You did yourself proud

Wow really beautiful. You could get in the business of doing that kind of work. Very creative.
Now I often look at the tiles on my kitchen floor and think that would make a nice quilt block. Never the other way around LOL Great job. |
What a totally great project. I'm jealous.....got time to do my floor :D

Sorry I've been away from my computer for a few days. What I used to cut the vinyl tile for the star was a very sharp utility knife and one of my mom's quilting rulers. (Sh-h don't tell her.)
The rest of the tile is an industrial tile. We heated the (industrial) tile in the oven set at 200 degrees and used a large paper cutter that we picked up from an office supply store to cut the tile as well as the utility knife. |
Beautiful job!
I'd also like to know what you used to cut the tiles with. I've been trying something similar (different pattern) but keep breaking the darn tiles on curves. |
Great Job ! VERY BEAUTIFUL !!

Thanks for the info Lora. Now I just have to find where I put it away! :)
