She is a lucky little girl to find such a good home.

She's adorable!
|
What a sweetie! Thank you forgiving her a good home, despite her supposed heart murmur.
|
Nobody should put Baby into the corner....she's beautiful! My shep pup is now 10mths old and is the only one of her litter which survived an outbreak of distemper. I brought her home when she was only 5 weeks old to remove her from the enviroment she was in. I've never regretted my decision for a minute.....nobody puts Rosie into a corner either. LOL Enjoy the new member of your family!

Hello, Baby! You are going to be loved for a long time!

When we adopted her the shelter spaded, chipped, dewormed, did the first round of shots and gave us a voucher for her rabies shot for the $75 adoption fee. When they did the spading the vet said she had a heart murmur and gave us the option to back out. But I knew what they would have done to her so I told my wife to bring the little girl home anyway. At least I can make sure the rest of her life is a loved one. The day before yesterday we took her to our vet and he gave her the second round of shots, checked her stitches and did a thorough check up to verify the murmur and she did not have one. The other vet was listening to her erratic breathing because she is a hunting dog and made the wrong assessment. So needless to say the weight of the world was lifted off of my shoulders when we heard the good news! Billy |

She is just darling!!!!!!

What a sweetheart! I have a 10 year old Aussie mixed with ???? and he's been a great family dog for 9 years now. He was a rescue with less than 24 hours of life left when we adopted him and other than not liking little kids a whole lot, he's been absolutely wonderful!!!!! Be sure that your little guy meets people of all ages and diversities when he's little so you don't have the same problem that I do...
|
AAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!
|
Ohh how sweet. I'm so glad you saved her. Those dogs are so smart.

Well this is kinda crappy but it comes with the territory I suppose......
My littlest Pom "Star" had started developing a cough and last night it was pretty bad with her breathing. It was a raspy sound and she had a deep chest type of cough. When it first started I thought it was the pollen count (it is through the roof here) but I told my wife I was running her to our vet to get her some relief. Come to find out Baby had given her a respiratory infection and she had to get antibiotic and steroid shots and since it was almost that time of the year I went ahead and got her boosters while I was there. She is doing a lot better but I still have to give her liquid antibiotics until they run out. Now for the kicker......Dixie (my Irish Setter mix) started coughing tonite. I hope she doesnt get any worse or have problems breathing until Monday morning so I can run her to the vet. I am having her be as calm as she can be, just letting her rest next to me and loving on her a lot. It would be nice if the vet was in tomorrow to nip it in the bud. That is why I am taking my other Pom with me when I go. ;-) Billy |
