What a beauty. Your fabric selection is great....I don't think I've seen a wedding ring done in such a vibrant hue and it works really well. Thanks for sharing your special quilt.

Me too, a double wedding ring is on my quilting bucket list. Yours is awe-inspiring. The colors are just juicy. They make me think of tangy sherbet. Great work.

Beautiful, gorgeous, and awesome that it's completed!! I am in the process of DWR. It just about turned me off piecing, but the top is done and my mom is hand quilting it for my son and his wife. What a lovely quilt and to have it done is just outstanding! :-)

AllAboutScraps 01-03-2013 06:14 AM

Yep, I made two of them, but I hand quilted mine.

I was so glad to get this one finished as it was larger than a regular King sized quilt. My dauther and her husband loves it.

sarahelloyd 01-03-2013 02:20 PM

Oh it is gorgeous. I have wanted to make one of these since I learned about quilting as a child (about 40 years ago), but haven't yet persuaded myself that I can do it. I hope the receiver realises the hours of work in it.

solstice3 01-03-2013 02:39 PM

Kaat 01-03-2013 03:06 PM

So beautifully done! I started one over ten years ago, but got frustrated and boxed it. I don't have your skill. I am pretty sure mine will stay boxed away for at least another ten years :0)
