I think it depends on how big you want the quilt. Perhaps you would like the larger better without the corner blocks? JMO...

Go with your personal choice...after all, it's YOUR quilt. Either way, it will be lovely! :)

I like the smaller borders It looks very pretty.

I like the smaller border. The cornerstones detract from the beauty of the design in the first picture. I would use a narrow strip of a very deep burgandy that's not in the quilt first to contain the color in the quilt, then the one shown. Using a fabric from the quilt as a border without a framing strip allows the color to bleed visually.
Beautiful quilt. I like the pattern and colors. |
beautiful quilt, bothe borders look nice, but I prefer the 1st pic with wider border

I agree with this!

I like both borders about the same. Nice job on your quilt.

Love the quilt! I like the 6" border. I think it frames" better.

beautiful quilt! Both choices would look great but I prefer the one without the corner blocks.

I prefer the smaller border with no corner squares. Very nice quilt either way.

I am about to finish up this Positively Parquet quilt, by UCan2, and can't decide the borders. The pattern calls for the 6" border with 6" squares, but I am kind of partial to the 3" border. What do you think?

I like the smaller border

I like the larger border, it adds nice detail to the quilt.

How about using the first one and then another narrow border of the plain brown, that is, if it's not going to mess up your required size. Whatever you chose, it's a beauty....lovely fabrics.
