Very nice quilt, indeed! Great job. You hanging it on the porch reminded me of stories my mother would tell of growing up in the country. When a neighbor, a quarter mile away or more, had time to chat and the coffee/tea was on, she'd hang a sheet out on the line or porch to let her friends know they were welcome. That was before telephones in the country.

Red, White, and Blue always looks great! You did a wonderful job. Looking forward to seeing Quilt # 2!
