I absolute love #1. I have never seen this pattern before. The other seem to busy

I must say this has been fun and I really appreciate all of your comments! I showed them again to my husband and he likes 1 or 3 more because they are not so busy. I will make that for him and then will work on some of your comments regarding 2 and 4 to improve the pattern and either make it for sale or keep it myself - you just never know.
Thanks again and happy Friday!!! |
I like #1 for the stair step look!
|
1 is so artsy yet restful. 3 is a close second but somehow lacks the "wow" of 1. 2 and 4 bother me in the center. Somehow that stair arrangement needs a solid block to rest on before going in a different direction but that would distort the overall piece. 1 is the winner by far in my opinion. Great quilt!

I like #2 the others make me dizzy ((:

# one definitely....
|
I like #1, it has the most dimension.

Both are great but I like #2

I think I am going to go with something along these lines....

I figured out what I liked about #3 over #1 - you can see the stairs both upside down and right side up. I am not 100% sure on the colors here but I can figure that out later. By going with the same color scheme over/under the steps you get the Escher illusion better. I really like the grey one but my DH wants blue - so blue it is!

#2 and #4 are the best.
