I'm still wondering which side of the insulbrite faces the design. Do you put the shiny side facing the design or the back?

When I made my pot holders from top to bottom I put the top then a layer of warm and natural then a layer of Insul-brite with the shiny side to the back or facing down. Then the backing. That was according to instructions on the insulbrite I believe or someone on here said to use it that way...facing whatever side you would have on the handle of a pot. Is that clear as mud?

nativetexan...so sorry you lost your coin purse. I didn't make these pot holders. I received them throught the pot holder exchange. The Texas one was machine embroidered on denim. It is very cute. But whoever made it did not have a name on it so I can't tell you who did it!!
