Very appro fabric

It's a wonderful quilt and you are a wonderful friend. I wish her well.

I was in a Cancer Clinic 2 weeks ago and people having Chemo or anything else will love to have a quilt. They are always cold and it's always cold in the Clinic. People working in there work so hard, they need the coolness. You are doing a good thing to give her a quilt. She will use it.

Beautiful quilt! How about a good book to go with it? I'm sure your friend will love your gift!
|
so very caring and I love the book fabric. I just started a similar quilt for a friend for the same reason.
|
What a great quilt! It only attests to her love of reading. (I am reluctant to comment, but did you notice that one of the 4 patches is turned the opposite way? Is that intentional?)

Great job!

Great idea using the book fabric as she is an avid reader. So nice to have a quilt she can enjoy forever from a loving friend.. Many women receive a pink cancer ribbon quilt and I've never understood why they would want a quilt that screams "I've got breast cancer" in their face. Sorry everyone...just my personal opinion.

Yes to Needing something warm while going through chemo. My sister knitted me an afghan of the softest, thickest yarn she could find, when I was doing it.
|
Such a thoughtful gift...I pray her surgery and treatment are successful.
