It's a beautiful quilt and I feel for you, as the same thing happened to me with my Uneven Log Cabin which I did a tutorial for here...I eventually managed to get the quilt back by contacting the person who was arranging her funeral as she had no close relatives..so now I have it as a keepsake of Jan, who never actually saw the quilt but knew I had made it for her..so sad ((((((((hugs))))))))

I would try and get yours returned too, if not, make another like it in remembrance of your friend :cry:
