I Love chickens I drew a chicken I plan to make a pattern out of. Also a frog. A long legged frog.

Susan: I also collect frog items - you should see the inside and outside of my home - many, many, many frogs - everyone I work with always buys me frogs also. It's great you're making your own patterns!!!

Sandy, first off, illusion quilts are one of my favorites, picture quilts another. In my opinion, yours is absolutely fantastic, I love it. Your colors are also great.

Wow...for a first quilt you really did a magnificent job and it looks like you've hand quilted it, too. Great job, great colors. Thanks for sharing.

Feathers: Yes, I am hand quilting the quilt. I can't wait until I can actually complete it! What a task. But I love it. Thank you for your wonderful comments. Sandy

First off, your colors are fabulous! I love the way the black sets off the brights! Secondly, this does not look like a beginner's block at all! Very ambitious for your first attempt! Your quilting is fabulous! And lastly, including the photos was inspired and makes this a very personal quilt for your daughter. I'm sure she's crazy about it! Well done!
