I think it's called either "Snowflake" or "Arkansas Star"... I think. I have an antique in the same pattern (well, DD has it) & it's my favorite of all these beauties. These are just wonderful & you're so lucky to have such wonderful family treasures! Do you plan to finish them?

To those who have asked, I am sure at some point I will work on finishing them. The big question is what to do with them then??? My storage space is so very limited!

Oh, the detail and labor of love in all of them. I like the first one very much. What joy you will have working on them and thinking of your grandmother's hands as she pieced them. How sweet for someone to gift them to you.

We have come a long way baby with quilting over the last 50+ years.... but it has always amazed me the patterns they did with limited quilting tools....... their basic tools were a scissors, ruler and a cardboard templates. What a treasure you have. You could get a couple of quilt hangers and display your quilts....
