LOL!! When she told me she was having trouble getting started and getting motivated, I told her to pretend that her MIL or least favorite neighbor/relative said "Why ever would you want to make THAT?!!", or "Those fabrics really don't go together". So that she would want to finish it and rub their noses at how beautiful it turned out!

wow, they are both beautiful. I can see why you held out for that particular fabric. It's beautiful.

Excuse me......I'm still wiping the drool off of my keyboard.
Both runners are beautiful but I just don't have words to describe the Rainforest Rings. Your choice of fabrics was perfect.

(also if you get tired of it (yeah, right) you can PM me and I'll take it off your hands  )

Both of your runners are beautiful!! I love that Fireweed fabric. I bought it and several of the coordinating fabrics several years ago when it first came out. I have not done anything with it yet but just love your runner!!!!

You should pull it out and make them. It is really quite easy, I had not hand appliqued in several years and was a little nervous about the rings. I pinned it than sat and looked at it for over a week and before I had the guts to start sewing, had it all sewn but the end rings in a day, really surprised myself. I think it would be really quick machine applique.

Lisa Moore has several photos of the runner done if several different fabrics on her Quilts With a Twist site. I have six of her patterns now.
