You have taken serious fashion faux pas and made it into a gorgeous quilt! Love what you did with them. I would have passed them by without a second look, so glad you had the thoughtfulness and imagination to turn them into something beautiful. You have gotten me to rethink my options in the thrift store. Can't wait to see the finished product.

The pants were awful! The quilt is awesome!! You have a great eye for color combinations!!

WOW! Sure looks better as a quilt than it did as pants. Now, those were some butt-ugly pants. The quilt is beautiful. I also like the red/floral one. Super job on both!

How fortunate for someone that you bought those pants and repurposed them. They look much nicer in your quilt!

Great transformation!
Who in their right mind would wear those pants? Right mind might be the key? |
I love that fabric in the pants!! I wish I could find some for a project I am working on right now.

I posted a photo of pants I found at the thrift store - so ugly...but look what I have done with them thus far. I still have to put on the 3 borders and if I have enough I may also piece another border.
It is called the 5 minute block. I like it a lot, what about you? The floral quilt is the 10 minute block and it will have the purple and white borders added. Talk about colorful.... |
Turned out nice. I can't imagine seeing myself wearing does, but I could cover up with whatever is made from them.

Amazing what scissors and a vision did to those pants.

That fabric was hideous as pants but you made something really beautiful from it! Just goes to show that there's beauty hidden in everything if you look for it. The floral is lovely and spring like. :)

How cool is that. Just pure fun.
