That was very thoughtful of your sister to do that. She's a giving kind of person, huh? I think it WONDERFUL!!! How could you not love it?

What a fantastic gift to give your daughter!!! I absolutely LOVE it!!! It sooo reminds me of a quilt my grandmother had made with her home extension ladies...it had no batting just the hand pieced top sewn to a piece of red flannel with small yellow flowers in it. The colors are sooo similiar!! I LOVED that quilt...and it kept her close to me when she passed. What a treasure!! Your daughter will cherish this for sooo many years to come!! Your sister and you did a great thing together!! Even if you didn't mean to Mom LOL

I think it's an awesome quilt!! I love the bright colors, scrappy look and vintage feel! What a fantastic keepsake quilt for your dd!

I can sure relate to that! As we look at it we have a blast remembering that little 4 of July outfit, here's the first day of school dress, oh look, this one was the fabric we had look alike dresses from. . . and so on.
