Your work is too beautiful. How do you mark your quilts?

I must admit that I always forgot how long a quilt took to finish after a few years. But for this one I think I needed about 3 month.

Thank you! This quilt I marked with a watercolor pencil. Most of the markings rubb of during quilting, the rest comes out with the first wash. I used quilting patterns that I found in different books and made stencils out of it, but I also used a lot of freehand drawing. The feather border with the included spirals is drawn freehand. That's really fun!
