I was working on a wholecloth quilt. Quilting by hand. How do you keep the "blue" design on the fabric. Guess I handled mine to death. When I realized what was happening, started putting balance of quilt in pillowcase. Only exposing portion I was working with. Absolutely loved working on project. Only became discouraged when I couldn't see outlines anymore.

I'm not quite sure - are you talking about the blue lines of preprinted tops? This quilt (and all the others I have done) aren't preprinted ones, I did the design and the markings by myself. I only mark small areas of the quilt, than I quilt them and mark again the next area.
