This is such a cool block! I made 6 blocks as the center of a Round Robin in 30's fabrics. Can't wait to see how my quilt top turns out. Will post a picture when I get it back.

Thanks for sharing the link.

What a great block to work on when want to sew but don't have a lot of time, just pull out some scraps.

What a great quilt!
My lil 4 yr old granddaughter came up with the idea she would go thru "Grammy's Fabric Shop" (So named by her) and "Pick out every fabric I love.". She then suggested "Grammy, maybe you could take squares of every one of them and sew them together for me a blanket??.."
She absolutely had definite "yeses" and "nos" on what she wanted as she went thru choosing fabrics. I must say I see a future quiltaholic in the making..lol
I think instead of squares, these butterflies would be a great choice for her quilt, thanks for sharing your fabulous quilt and the tut link.

Isn't that the quilt of the week? It is beautiful and I had copied it the other day, the patter and tute, to see if I could make one, but that is on the back burner! Great job.

that's neat. I've never seen this pattern before, kind of a modernists butterfly. Cool.

It's on my "to do" list. Looks so complex but the tutorial makes it easy enough. Thanks for a re-visit and reminder.
