What a great way to scrap quilt. I have a big ole bad of fleece scraps downstairs and wasn't too sure just why I was keeping them. :) Now I know!! Scrap bag here I come!

I have no fleece but I might have to go out and buy some to make that little blanket. It is so wonderful.

I for one have a lot of smaller pieces of fleece that would be perfect for this. Bet I could make a lot of them for Project Linus. I just love it.

I saw Nancy Cornwall's book about polar fleece where she says to overlap the seams and use water soluble double-sided tape to hold them before sewing. So that's what I did--I cut all my fleece scraps, coordinated them into matching colors, made them into rectangles with the wavy rotary cutter, and then made them into blocks, and made this receiving blanket. I have enough scraps left to make some more. It was fun.

That is so cute!! NO one would know it was from scraps (unless you tell). I bet I know what my next baby quilt will be. Thanks for sharing.
