Let me try this again, The bowtie was my first scrappy, the circle one was to help me learn hand quilting, the wallhanging was scraps from 2 other quilts. The other 3 are my attempt to get rid of Christmas stuff I acumulated while buying bags of thrifted scrap fabric.

I love, love looking at all these scrappy quilts though it will take me some time to get through all 150 pages. I posted a question last week asking if a quilt can be too scrappy. Looking at this pics answers my question for me. There's such a wide variety here and the only thing they all have in common is that they all look great. I have a couple scrappies I've made that I will post eventually.

In reference to your quilt in post #2982. I too think that Arkansas Crossroads for scrappy is one of my favorite patterns. I absolutely love your white with black background fabric!
I finally got around to making myself one. It was my quilt, until that same month a flash flood severly damaged our friends home in Longmont, Colorado. So what was once mine turned into a comfort quilt for them. I need to get busy and make myself another Arkansas Crossroads. Attached is the picture of the "Once-was-mine-quilt-but-ended-up-being-theirs-quilt!" :0) |
Beautiful quilt and wonderful setting for the picture Onalee.

Arkansas Crossroads is one of my favorites, too. (But I kept mine! :) )

Pretty Ark Xroads, Angelia!

Wow I really, really like your Arkansas Crossroads Angelia! Referring to post #3007 I especially like the backing what a fun fabric! I can see why you kept yours!
What size were your patch squares? |
Onalee--they are cut at 3.5"--I was given a boxful, so I made a bunch of sixteen patches that I have used in three different quilts so far. Thanks.
