i am going to do a couple things in the sewing room then try and find the fabric to make the snowman

Got a terrific envelope from my Angel today: three lovely batiks in wonderfully summery colors (a cool blue, a spring-y/grassy-ish green, and a deep blue), an adorable little angel figurine (that will sit near my machine as a reminder that she's thinking of me!), and a beautiful card. I love it all, thanks so very much!

Lordy folks....we know she is alive and well now (Chrickette) as she is back on the board with us again. I thought she was starting to recover when she started sewing a few blocks here and there but now that she is sitting in her chair long enough to get on computer I think she for sure is going to survive. Welcome back my friend....you have been missed!!! Love you gal. (Oh and sure enjoyed lunch last week.)

got a pkg flying out today for my angel. I totally understand when our angels are delayed in sending thoughts our way, everyday life is busy enough, than someone throws a monkey wrench in and all h*$%% breaks loose. 4 family deaths in 4 months, unexpected surgery, good thing I have God to carry me through. Just got home late last night from my sons wedding in New Orleans. Have been home in Louisiana for the past week. But back in South Carolina now and there was a beautiful card waiting for me from my SQA. Thanks SQA!!!!
