Looky Looky... was so happy yesterday to find this in my mailbox. My quilt block for March "so cute". Some wonderful cookbooks... going to the store today to get the stuff to make something out of it. A spring dish towel so cute. I'm cutting it in half and crocheting on the ends to make two hand towels to hand on my fridge and stove. Also I'm including a picture of the cute outfit she sent for my new grandson. If he doesn't come today they are starting her tomorrow HAPPY DAY!

Thank you my dear sweet Ethel! Your the Best! I hear a bell ringing....(Its a wonderful Life)

So many nice things. I am going to town later for evening class, so will get something for my SQA then. I'm so sorry about those of you have not heard from your SQA's. I'm sure it is not a good feeling. Know we are thinking of you and hoping for the best for your SQA person. |

What beautiful material and the book looks so interesting too. |
sugarpumpkin;
It looks to me like it is , two Flying geese and a triangle , with straight pieces on it, I could make a pattern for you if I knew the size of the finished block and the size of the outer borders. Let me know. |
I would absolutely love to have that Shamrock pattern, too!! If someone knows of it, please share with the rest of us. It is so cute!! :D Our family has so many special events, in the month of March, that it would be nice to have a good (or should I say easy?) pattern like this one!! :D
Thank You in advance!! :D :D :D :D Everyone's S.Q.A. gifts are wonderful. I need to get mine out too, so my Angelee doesn't think I forgot her!! :D |
love the block, and the seeds, every one is getting such nice things. I love to look at the pictures, I have my camera now so if I get anything from now on I can put the pictures in to show too.

Good News Everyone!!
Some S.Q.A. (I don't know who she is) :D, sent me links for the St. Patrick's Day quilt block, that karielt received. Her quilt block is pictured on page 99, of this thread. I remember that a few other quilter's were asking for this pattern. So, here goes. The block in the photo was drawn from: http://kimsbigquiltingadventure.blog...%20Day%20Quilt Here's another cute one: http://www.quiltingworks.com/howto/shamrock-block.htm http://www.quiltingassistant.com/shamrock.html ENJOY!! :D :D :D :D |
thanks for the links those are all awesome!! can't wait to make a few for myself!!
|
SulaBug, thank you for sharing! The St Patrick Day blocks are darling! That's what I really love about this board, people are always willing to share and help one another!! ;-)
|
Thanks Sulabug!
I am going to get started on my quilt this weekend! Yay! I am so glad I found a pattern I like for my green quilt! |
I started a thread about this however I thought I would also post it here. March is national quilting month and March 20 is national quilting day. Since we seem to all send for holidays this SHOULD be a good one to remember your Angelee and send a pressie. :-D :-D :-D
|
Thanks sulabug!!
Wouldn't this block be fun to make using the quilt as you go method?? |
Thanks Sulabug. Your the best and so is the SQA who provided this.
I'm home from school (teacher is stuck in Memphis, can't get a connecting flight from Atlanta home due to weather), so I think I will work on one of these today. Homework can wait-right? |
Thanks Cheryl, that is so sweet of you to get all those addresses for us!

You are so Welcome!! :D I am just glad that (:D the someone who I don't know :D) contacted me & asked me to list them for her!! :D :D :D |
I got a nice surprise in the mail today from my SQA.
A pretty quilt pattern called "Dreams of Sedona" and a packet of paper piecing patterns called "smokey Mountains". It was sent to me from Ellens Quilt Creations with a note saying "Welcome to March. Everyone should visit Sedona once, even if only in a quilt. From you SQA". The Sedona pattern gives me ideas too. I think the center section would make a really unique table runner. I've got a middle ear thing going on right now and I'm dizzy all the time. Doc says it just has to run its course as it can't be cured, but am on medication for the dizziness and nausea. I'm thankful for the medication, it really helps, but it also keeps me housebound. Hubby says he'll take me to my favorite fabric shop when I can walk a straight line. LOL. Anyway, thanks so much to my SQA and I'm going shopping as soon as I'm able. |

Catlady,
Your comment about "walking a straight line" made me giggle: when I had something like that, my husband once told me that I should have a good, stiff drink ... said it would make me walk straighter! Something about cancelling out each other..... what a guy, right? Nice SQA gifts, all! Odessa |

I get dizzy all the time when walking. I can't look at certain fabrics because they won't stay still. |

|
OMG true, I am so sorry. Mine isn't that bad.
I always thought it had to do with my eyes, not my ears. Hummm. Stripes (tiny ones) and tiny dots make my head spin. So does bargellos. Whoa, I can look at one and I almost fall over, even when I am sitting! |
