May I just say that I have the absolute BEST ANGEL?? :) Check out the anniversary gift that she sent to us! The table runner, magazine and card were tucked into that awesome wine box!

I came home today from Kohl's, where I work, and there was a package ! I just knew it had to be my angel sending me something. I just want to thank you very very much.
This is what my angel sent to me. Chocolates suger-free-pepermint candies. My favorite.
two adorable angels.
wind chimes, which has a beautiful chime.
silicone iron mat, a night light
and a pack of redwork squares, never saw anything like that , I'm going to check around so I can get a set to make a lap quilt. You are the greatest. Hope you have a wonderful time on your trip.keep safe.

I got your package today!! I am so happy to hear from you and to know everything is okay!

I really got some of the best stuff!! A 1/2 a yard of gorgeous maroon fabric (my FAVORITE color!!) five fat quarters, two great books, a mini rotary cutter, a ruler handle, CHOCOLATE!, a great TURTLE pattern --- awesome awesome awesome.

OMGosh, I forgot to post the pics. Here they are.

The mug and accessories are so cute and kind of match an earlier calendar she sent. The Tote umbrella matches the yellow and blue Bow Tie tote I am working on. The pattern book looks interesting and full of projects as is the little card showing how to make a runner x2 easy peasy. The little basket of fabric is all patriotic, so guess what the runner will probably be? And, she sent a bunch of Ceylon teas which I have been enjoying. Thank you so much.
Funny thing is the pully already came and was put on my tractor later in the day. Darn, had to mow.

As promised, here are my goodies I rec'd. The pin cushion is so adorable and the mushroom house is precious! Look at all the work my SQA put into it. I just love it all :thumbup:

Question for all of you....

Do you have trouble deciding what to make or actually cutting into the fabric that your Angel sends?

I'm having the hardest time! I so want my ANGEL to know that I'm not just giving lip service when I say "thank you", that I LOVE her gifts to me! I have not found one pattern or project that I think is special enough for these fabrics tho! I want to make sure that they're used in something that I am going to keep, and I want to make sure that I'm not going to screw them up, simply because they're such special gifts! I have the CW fabrics that my ANGEL sent to me laying on my cutting table now...and have decided that the pattern I was going to use them for just isn't special enough, so I'm back at the computer to whine and to search for something better! (I had the Easter Bunny fabrics out too, but I'm not sure I can leave that poor bunny without something in his tummy! He's so darned cute!!!!! :lol: )

No I have that problem also :oops: Any fabric that I have received in swaps is too hard for me to cut . Can't explain it just is . Which is why my fabric stash is growing ! LOL

My SQA is sending me fabric to match a pattern she already sent me so that will be easier for me to use , as I know the fabric will be as special as the pattern :thumbup: The pattern is for place mats so after I make them I will use them and think of her :lol:

I was shopping with Mimisharon today at a nice little shop. Picked up some pretties, but cannot show you because a piece of what I bought is going to my angel.

I have the same problem, all my fabrics are in a basket that my angel sends me but I want tomake somthing special,just cant seem to figure it out yet.I love all my fabrics.

Ok, here is the solution... AFTER we reveal who the angel are, then we can cut into our fabric and show pictures of our purchases...
I too have problems cutting into my sqa gifts...so they all go into a special box :D

here are two things that I have made from my Angel's gifts.

Still have some charms, which are still on the drawing board looking for just that right project and some FQs, which I am not quite sure what they will become.......

You are so right, it has to be something special.

My first picture below, is of the aprons.... the fabric and the pattern, arrived early on.....

the second contains the yellow FQ I received and was able to use up some of my stash completing the "old oak tree"

I haven't cut into mine yet either. I'm like ya'll...just have to find that "special" thing for it. I've recieved the prettiest fabric!!

dh got home from work at 4:00am and woke me to tell me i had a package from angel baby just had to open it then will take a pic later i got some more wonderful fabric a book of fabric bowls and a nice case to put a hot iron into

I just had to share -- I was a little perplexed about how to use that "fingertip cutter" (other than to cut off my own fingers!) BUT -- I used it tonight and just absolutely fell IN LOVE!! It is the perfect size to trim off all of those dog ears from my pinwheel blocks!!!!!

I got a package from my SA today that was a total surprise--wasn't expecting it at all! She sent me some red, white, & blue washcloths, a beautiful star for hanging someplace, and a wool pincushion--seriously, can we ever have too many pincushions? She also sent a tiny littly coin-sized medal with the imprint of an angel on it--I almost missed it, but my husband found it. I guess it's her personal little "mark of
Zorro"! Thank you, Angel--I love it all! :-D :-D :-D

Please explain it to me! My DH got me one last x-mas and I haven't a clue what to do with it! :?:

It's just a tiny rotary cutter. I have cut myself with the big one so many times it's scary!!! But this one you can put on your finger and go!! I found it easier to hold it like a pencil. It's perfect fit little cuts without a ruler - I found myself pressing too hard when I tried to make ruler cuts with it.

My secret angel's parcel has been mailed out. Should arrive soon. I hope you like it

Our sale of our business fell thru, so we are killing ourselves trying to keep up with everything just the 2 of us. I;m not so sure retirement is coming in Sept.
