Good reminder..I just bought some more fabric for a quilt, but I think I will first make up a bunch of scrappy string blocks first. To to use up some of my scraps. I have been making hook rugs, which has really helped alot. May try making another one of those to.

Have a Blessed day Ellen |
I see a lot of scrap quilts coming out of that basket. Your blocks are very colorful, going to be a great quilt

Have fun.
I think you will be doing more then one scrappy quilt |
Thanks for sharing! You've made me feel better about my sewing room. It looks like a work in process too and I actually am working on a quilt! Love your sewing machine!!

Your scrap quilt is going to be fun and beautiful.
I know what you mean about them growing like the "Blob". I have 12 drawers that are 12" x 12" x 7" of larger scraps sorted by color, 2 shopping bags of odd strips (one light, one dark), 2 blanket bags of smaller pieces ( one light, one dark). I have made 3 queen size tops and have 3 more in the works of scrap quilt and have barely made a dent. Oh, I forgot the box of hst's that I use for beginners and enders. |
I know from where you speak.
I have that problem too. Yet I buy more fabric. I also have the blob in my cupboard..It seems to me that the blob keeps attacking the coffee mugs. I haven't bought a mug in more years then I can remember and yet they keep coming..lol |
Im with you, Honey! I have three huge totes of scraps!! my husband said if I buy anyomre materail before I empty at least one of them he's gonna have a stroke! Poor dear, I alerted his doctor! LOL!
