There are some available on the Internet for free, which I printed out ages ago and never got around to trying them. But, each pair of jeans is different, so a little creativity is needed. I make them two ways, cutting off the legs just below the roach, then stitching across to form the bottom. However, this makes for a shallower bag if you use smaller size jeans or hip huggers. I usually cut the legs off at least 6 inches or so below the crotch and cut out the thick crotch seam, then pin the front together in the center and stitch, making sure it is flat as possible, then flip it over and do the same for th back. Now, I have a skirt, so I just stitch across the bottom front and back to close. I saw this in a demo video on the Internet. Then, start on the lining. I use the legs for the straps and line them with the matching fabric from the tie and lining. As you make a few, you learn little tricks to customize them. Part of the charm is picking the right pair of jeans!

Yes, it is more like a boutique. In fact, the front part of the store looks like a clothing boutique, and has the more expensive stuff. I just hope it stays nice. It only opened a few weeks ago, so I imagine that is when thy got the best stuff. I have been in twice now, and last time, walked out with 8 pairs of jeans and a jeans skirt (all for making bags). I love picking through them to find the jeans with the best bling and decoration, and usually try to pair it with a fabric I have for the ties an lining. I think I am hooked on these bags!
