Beautiful!

Just a suggestion but you can buy plastic table covers to cover the top and protect it on the table. I did this with one of my quilts that I didn't want to have stained at dinner time.

Lovley!! Nice colour selection!

Oh so pretty, I made one like that years ago, may just have to do another now that you reminded me of it. Very nice.

It is beautiful. I think I would try using foam board cut the entire exact shape. I would make a pocket on each point but 2, leaving them open on one side, slip the board in, and then fasten the two open flaps shut with pins or basting. then hang it with a ring from the top point.

I've taken the heavier sewing pins and used them like nails to tack my quilts to the wall. They work great, don't leave big holes in the quilt or wall like regular nails and the hold nicely!

Very, very pretty. You could applique the star to a pretty matching fabric and then hang that. It wouldn't even have to be permanently stitched if you wanted to keep the star separate.

First, beautiful job! I love the colors too.

Second, this year we had a quilt show, and a round table cloth quilt was one of the entries, so it of course did not have a "sleeve" or whatever.

We came up with the idea of using tiny, tiny, alligator clips (bought at hardware store), and fishing line strung to pins in the wall. The pins were very tiny, so didn't damage the wall, and the it was all but invisible, but allowed the quilt to hang in a perfect circle, instead of having droopy edges!

For your quilt, I would say one clip for each point (top and sides only) would probably do it. The fishing line could be only an inch or so long even, so it would be more invisible.

Good luck, let us know if you find a way that works for you.

This is what I mean, hope you can see.

It is lovely and I agree with your husband- I would display it on the wall. If it was mine I would use Velcro strips (you'd have to glue the other half in place on your wall, but you can get self adhesive type and they say it doesn't mark)
