What an elegant quilt: an intricate design which stands out against its plain background. Just lovely.

Awesome quilt... I love it!

Oh my! What a demanding project! You can sure be proud of yourself for taking this on and obtaining a fantastic quilt! How long did it take you to create it?

Since you used a Tiara, I presume your beautiful quilting is free hand. Please explain how you did it. It is amazing!

Beautiful quilt! I've always loved stars. I'm doing to have to look up this pattern.

Your son-in-law is so blessed to have you! What a gorgeous quilt!

Made for my son in law. The pattern gives instructions for making the star blocks with split square and triangle background pieces, but I challenged myself to make them the traditional way with set-in seams. Now that I've got that out of my system :), I will use Deb Tucker's Rapid Fire ruler to make stars for my next quilt.
Pattern is Milky Way, from Fig Tree. Quilted with Glide on my Tiara. Sorry the pictures aren't better. Daffy |
So pretty. Stars and red, white, blue combination is a winner
