Originally I had it laid out with Sue & Sam in the center and I was going to do a bunch of different applique blocks AROUND that block... I was about a 1/4 of the way through and my son & his family came over.... He had seen what I was doing and started moving my blocks around and said "it would look better if you laid it out like this" and walked away. After I kicked him in the shin and slapped him around a little bit, I felt guilty and did it HIS way. Okay, I'm just kidding, I didn't really beat him up... BUT I was left feeling like... "WHY DIDN'T "I" THINK OF THAT!!??!!?"

Soooooo, I guess to answer your question... the pattern was, eh hemmm... my son's idea. Just don't tell him I told you... He might beat ME up. LOL
