Wow you have done a wonderful job as for me (well I'm still into rectangles and squares) but if i wasn't I think I would have thrown it right out the window. lol Can't wait to see it finished.

A "caned seat" on a kitchen chair is woven reed, looking much like your block, only on a much finer scale. I love the name of it, when you said what it was, I instantly thought of the old caned seats. We don't see them much any more.

LOLOL, OMG, you know what? I knew that!
I was watching a program a while ago and they explained just that, and in my head I went "Oh, so THAT's why that pattern is called that"... I guess I just forgot that I knew, lol!
