Third (and last!) Garden Fairy Quilt
2 Attachment(s)
When I first found these fabric panels, knew I needed to make one for my friend's 4-year-old daughter who a) loves to dress up as a fairy, and b) loves to play in the garden with her mother.
Then I saw that my 9-year-old niece had the old garden fairy story books, so had to make HER one. Then my friend saw the quilts and reminisced "oh I used to read that to my daughter when she was little and now she's graduating from college" and so made HER one. I think I'm done with the garden fairies. Here's the quilt and the graduating senior (who, by the way, told her mom: I'll never be too old for the garden fairies!) Beautiful quilt and a very happy recipient.

what a wonderful use of the panels. Well done. I've been attracted to this line of fabric forever, but never felt like I could do justice to it. I love seeing people actually use these wonderful images.
