I want to see what it looks like after you try some of these cures. Thanks for sharing that even YOU can have problems! You are such a pro I never expect to see you have those days.

Too bad. There are ways to fix just about anything if you take the time to ask.

Oh you should NOT think of me as a pro at all! That makes me uncomfortable. I have never taken a class or had one lesson--I read directions and make changes when I think I can. I have no formal teaching at all...so nothing close to a pro. I have been sewing about 15 years, so that's a lot of trial and error. I'm just a solitary country quilter...

It's looking fantastic! I like Janquiltz's idea of a gentle curve cos that makes it unique to you? Blocking sounds good too! Just when I thought there wasn't much you can do and I learn something new!! Love your Quilt! It is looking really lovely! GORGEOUS!! :-D :-D

I can't find the video where she was squaring a quilt - not trimming it, but squaring the quilt center, then the inner borders, and then the outer ones, making sure there were perfect 90 degree corners at each step.. I'm thinking it might be within one of her other videos.....sorry.

But the concept is the same. Watch these videos about manipulating blocks into submission (without trimming)
and you might find these methods work for your situation.
It would be a shame to whack off any of your lovely masterpiece.

Thank you for posting the links. The techniques described give us all hope when things go a little out of sync! :D

sometimes, just the way we handle the quilt causes a bit of bowing, but your idea of sewing alternate ends is valid and a good idea.
Your quilt is just BEAUTIFUL!
I like what you do with florals, my friend - - <wave>
