Lovely quilt. I have a twister, but have not had time to use it! We have good friends just south of Lima. Were there a year ago and went up to Shipshewanna! Great trip. It is thier turn to come to Oklahoma this year!

Would never have thought of using the design in that way, it is very pretty. Thanks for sharing.

Great quilt.... love your color choices....I need to get a 'twister' ruler and try.

Rose Bagwell 06-29-2012 05:56 AM

Nice, I bought the rulers, book and have yet to do the twist, seems complicated to me. I'll just have to buckle down and do it. I love your colors and idea.

Yours in much prettier than the pattern cover (IMHO)!

What a great idea for a fast quilt with a lot of character! I have a lil' twist template, maybe I'll use it for something like this. I love batiks too.

Latrinka 06-29-2012 01:29 PM

I love it! Sew pretty!

gigi4419 06-29-2012 02:07 PM

Pretty! Love the colors!

nstitches4u 06-29-2012 03:24 PM

Beautiful! Did you use a pattern, or is this your own design? I have a lot of batiks that I bought when we went on our HawIian cruise. I've been trying to decide what I want to do with them.

That is a unique layout for the twister. I love your bold stripes and giant twisters. BTW, I agree that it doesn't need any borders. Thanks for sharing.

So pretty! I love batiks--and just bought the twisty cut ruler yesterday. I haven't used it yet, but can't wait to try it!

Jammin' Jane 09-17-2012 03:19 PM

I love batiks, too! :)
